Easter and Jesus is Risen!!!

So friday Jeremiah had the day off from school so we painted ice cream buckets for there Easter baskets, and i had some fun dinosaur stickers for Jeremiah and Jacob and some cute girl stickers for Skylar. They did a good job but there were not what i envisioned of course. so friday night Justin and i got the kids to bed early so we put on a adult movie and I finished painting them while Justin put the candy and stuff in the baskets. Then Saturday morning they wake up and the freaking crack of dawn (6am) and sissy comes and tells me the Easter bunny was here!!! So everyone gets up and pees and we all go out together to see what the Easter bunny left.................................................................................................................That's right it was nothing but candy!! Oh Happy Day!!







Saturday Morning Started early but we all had enough time to get ready for the Easter egg hunt on base which started at 9am! we had a blast! it was "Sponsored" so they had tones of venders and everything was free! they did face painting, and tattoos and they decorated flower pots then they had real flowers to put in there flower pots!!! So fun! They had stuff they could paint and they also made some bird feeders. So many fun activities besides just an egg hunt! Also lots of free food they had pizza and hot dogs, chick fillet was there and also blue bell ice cream!! we did and ate all of this!!! soooo gooooood!! Jacob just hung out in his stroller which he was not happy about but he didn't whine to much as long as we kept food in his hand, mouth ect. we were there from 9am till noonish. we got home and all the kids and Justin and i took naps!!!












Naps lasted till 4pm! Then it was time for the at home Easter egg hunt! Justin hid the eggs. I thought the kids would be sick of ester egg hints and activities! I always underestimate there stamina!!! Jacob kept wanting to open every easter egg he found to eat the candy, but it was all good Justin had the awesome plan of letting Jeremiah only find blue and green ones , skylar could only find pink and purple ones and jacob found orange and yellow. which worked out fantastic!!! there was no fights!!................. was that the end you ask?........................








OH NO!!!! We had a Church activity at 6pm. So we headed to the church and had dinner and a nice program they talked about Christs resurrection and they had some musical
numbers all that were wonderful but my favorite was of course the primary children sang Did Jesus really live again! it was so cute!! When this was over we got home around 8:30 i think because Justin stayed to help clean up. but it was a wonderful fun filled day with family and friends! So Saturday is our Easter bunny day but Sunday is all about Christ i got up and made a big nice breakfast and we watched a movie on Christs resurrection. all day long we remind the kids what Easter is all about. Which is Christ died for our sins then after he was crucified on the 3rd day he is risen!! Skylar asked if we would see Jesus for real at church i told her no that he is really busy but that he will always be there to help her and we will all see and live with him one day for real!!! After church we had an amazing Easter dinner with our extended family the carters, we also got to skype with kyle and makenzie and my mom and dad while we were there. What an amazing weekend!!! Thank You Heavenly Father for the amazing blessing of thy son and family and friends, and so many other things this post could go on forever!!:)
