Tucson Zoo

During Jeremiahs spring break i wanted to plan some fun things to do with the kids and one of the things i knew they would love was to go to the Zoo. The zoo also just got some new elephants and a baby one and had made a whole new exhibit. So I got someone to watch Jacob for me ( cause i could already see that kid falling in with the otters or being trampled by the elephants because that kid does not stay still or listen very well yet) and Jeremiah, Skylar and I and the Rosenbaums headed to the zoo! i didn't have my camera but Rainy took some great ones and sent them to me. The kids had a great time it was a beautiful day not to hot and we got to see almost all the animals. The lions also were out with the cubs and we sat and watched them play for 30min the cubs were teasing there papa and he would claw and growl and chase them and they would run to the mama lion it was hilarious and at times a little scary cause a few times i wasn't sure that papa wanted to be bothered anymore...with the way he was whacking his babies. but what do i know i few good whacks and my kids listen too!! lol I also set up our family camping tent in the backyard and let Jeremiah and Skylar sleep out in it. Justin got the first night and i got the second sleeping out with the kids. It was fun and nice and cool so we left it up for a few days and that is the most they have ever played out in our back yard since moving here i think!!! Then to wined up the fun week we had General Conference, where we all just hung out all weekend being spiritually fed and told how important family time is!!!
